Saturday, 8th April 2006, Paulaner Brauhaus at the V&A Waterfront. Time for our engagement party! (Oh, and my b-day party too!)
And to do it in style, we had them set off a few fireworks in our honour! (okay okay, so it was the symphony of fire, but hey, it could have been for us!)
We had the private deck at the top of the restaurant, with a perfect view of the evening's spectacular event (the fireworks weren't too bad either...)
At one point in the evening the waiter told us to go downstairds, so that the band could play happy birthday for me! And then they thought that we'd gotten engaged that night! He he...
A really good time was had by all! Thanks to all who brought us pressies - really great!
