We went for sushi and other yummy things at Blowfish at Bloubergstrand. Really nice evening and we celebrated Martin's birthday too!
On the Saturday I joined the couzies out at a wine farm near Stellenbosch. One of those relaxing afternoons that just seem to go on and on! Was good to catch up on all of our news!
Then it was time to fly to Natal and attend Michelle's wedding to Carlo on the 29th September. Can't believe she was getting married! Johann was the official driver, which he thoroughly enjoyed doing (hat included!).

And then time for the party! Johnnie-boy sat at our table, seeing as Helga was bridesmaid, she had her own special seat on stage.
The next week Thinus and I took some time off for ourselves and headed to Natal's north coast to Zinkwazi. This was still part of our 1st year anniversary celebrations, so extra-special time away. We spent 2 nights at the Kwa Eden guest house. 
The hosts took us on a leisurely boat ride up the river. A lovely day! 
We also went to the Sibaya Casino for some sushi (yay!) and a spot of roulette. Thinus was doing incredibly well, and we managed to pay for dinner this way (yay again!). 
The next day was off to uShaka marine world where I had a cocktail at Moyo and Thinus prepared for his first diving lesson! 
Then it was off to the fish tanks for him, in wetsuit and all gear!
They taught him all the basics and by the end he was quite the pro swimming amongst the many fishes in one of the tanks at the aquarium! 
Sadly our holidays came to an end. Not before having breakfast with Omi, Vaders and Mudders.
Omi really enjoyed her latte and cappuccino! Was nice to spend some time with her, especially when she tells stories of long ago!
Leaving from Cape Town again, we spent a few last hours with Pa, Ma en Hannes. Then it was time to depart. Can't wait to come back again!
