Birthday party!

So, my birthday was on the 31st March and Vinh's birthday was on the 27th, so we decided to celebrate together and have a b-day braai! Sadly, the weather didn't play with, but we had a great day none the less! Here's Vinh and his friends trying to braai underneath the umbrella. Sadly at this stage the fire was still incredibly hot and the sausages were completely charred on the outside! Oh well! Other guests that came to the braai were Jonathan, Jaco and his wife Annabel. And then there's Ben, Edd and Natalie. (And on the good news side of thing - Natalie and Edd are now engaged!) And then we've got David and Thinus sitting nicely on the couch. Brad and Clare in the background of the pic above, and a more closeup view below. For those not yet in the know - they're our new housemates (seeing as Vinh had left us end of December). Brad's from New Zealand and Clare from Manchester. They seem to be enjoying their burgers here! And then time for cake! After all, it isn't a birthday without cake! All the birthday kids got to cut the cake - and as Natalie's birthday is also on the 31st, she had to join in the cake cutting and making a wish ceremony too! Overall a great afternoon and evening was had by all!
