We debated the real vs fake tree for quite a while and finally concluded on fake for the UK and real for SA. And so the tree was purchased and had to be put together by Thinus. Luckily Vinh pitched in to assemble the 1000-somewhat branch tree.
And then it was my turn to decorate the tree. I decided on silver and black decorations, in honour of our wedding theme last year.
Thinus helped in his own special way...
And I even made 2 Christmas wreaths after much hunting around the shops for all the necessary ingredients. I'm sure you will agree it turned out quite prettily!
