7th october, and helga has roped us into one of her ideas! south african day at church, and we have to cook! for 60 people it turned out! that makes a LOT of bobotie! so the plan was for all of us to cook and get it done. alas, how does it turn out - thinus, ronell & michelle cook. helga supervises. hmm. oh well! at least we got super good at making bobotie!
we even got so good, that we made michelle cry! okay, okay, so the onions did that...
here you can see quite nicely everyone hard at work. well, helga was eventually put in charge of serving us refreshments, so i suppose she did her part!
and then frankie came to town! with ronald and frank in tow. short little visit - but was nice to see them all none-the-less!
