Some more photos - here we have Thinus and bridesmaid Simone posing with the pretty couple! The wedding dress was made by a friend of Anria's - very impressive, and suited her so well!
A pic of Thinus & me! Yup - I flew all the way for the weekend (definitely worth it!!) and Thinus spent some 2 weeks at home (which he really made the most of!). Once all was done here, we drove over to Drakenstein for the reception. This had been creatively decorated - all in blues and oranges! There were even fish in the centre pieces on each table!
The food was good, the company great and just generally a lovely evening was had by all! Cobus and Anria opened the dance floor to sparklers and later on cut the cake. All the speeches, bouquet and garter toss were there too!
Drama was just the next day when their plane was delayed almost the whole day, and they had to spend the first day as husband and wife in Cape Town airport! But, luckily, this meant that we got to say good bye to them, as I flew off via Jo'burg that afternoon as well.
So, all in all, a perfect weekend!! And only good things we wish the newly married pair!
